Heroes of Ahmedabad Award 2013

 

Anish Garange was nominated for the Ahmedabad Heroes Series for his work with Nomad Band, the music wing of Budhan Theatre, primarily for educating children on music made with liquor making utensils

Heroes of Ahmedabad Award 2013

 

Dakxin Bajrange was nominated for the Ahmedabad Heroes Series for his work with Budhan Theatre for empowering stigmatized De-notified Tribes

Sabse Bada Dilwala 2013

 

The award was given by Red FM to Anish Garange for his music work for the social upliftment of Chhara children

Darpana Academy of Performing Arts Rangparva Award 2009

 

Budhan Theatre's play, Budhan Bolta Hai, received first prize in Rangparva Children's Theatre Festival, organized by Darpana Academy of Performing Arts.  Two actors, Nikul Tamanche and Hardika Kodekar, were awarded "Best Child Actors"

Jitendra Indrekar - 2009-2010

 

Received the Young Artist Fellowship from the Culture Department of the Indian Government to learn about tribal theatre forms and implement those forms at Budhan Theatre

 

 

Dakxin Bajrange - 2010-2011

 

Received the Ford Foundation International Fellowship to complete his Masters in Theatre and Global Development at the University of Leeds, UK
